Introduction
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has officially released the fixtures for the 2025/26 FUFA Big League season. The competition, which is Uganda’s second tier of football, will kick off on Sunday, September 28, 2025, promising another season full of drama, rivalries, and the battle for promotion into the Uganda Premier League.

Key Highlights of the Season
- Season Duration: The first round will run until January 11, 2026. The second round will commence on February 22, 2026.
- Promotion Rules: The top two clubs at the end of the season will earn automatic promotion to the Uganda Premier League. The third-placed side will face a play-off to fight for promotion.
- Venues: Matches will be spread across iconic grounds, including Bar Okoro Stadium (Zombo), Iganga Ssaza Grounds, Mbale City Stadium, Wakisha Recreation Ground, and more.
